Trekking on Mount Delphi
You need to enjoy walking else just stick on the
photos :)
Delphi mountain is the highest point of the island. Delphi is also the
resting area of 'Sentoukia' the kings' graves. To get there you need to
folllow the directions to Pirgos and then to 'Sentoukia'. You will end
up at an open space area where you should park your car and motorbike.
From this point and on you can only walk (~20 - 30 minutes walk) and
you reach the 'Sentoukia' area.
Opposite the 'Sentoukia' there is path that gets you to the Vathia
Forest.
From
here you have to design your paths and desired walk depending on
which direction you wanna go. Actually, the forest here is so dense and
you need to be careful not to get lost. Good luck and be sure to have
water with you and to wear a hat!
