Skopelos Entertainment - Skiathos island
visit
Skiathos! the most cosmopolitan island of
Sporades... It has its own airport with international and domestic
flights. Like Skopelos, it is also covered by thick pine forest and is
part of the protected environment.
During the summer months the island becomes very popular; it has
beautiful beaches (Koukounaries, Lalaria for example) and perfect
nightlife! We recommend to visit it, enjoy walking in the small
streets; and end-up at one of the excellent cafés and bars for a
drink...
Do not forget to visit
'Bourtzi' area (on the left side of the port as you arrive); a rock
that actually splits the port in two parts - the old and the new.
To get to Skiathos
from Skopelos we
suggest to ask the local travel agencies (at the Skopelos Town port or
Loutraki) for the timetable.
There are hydrofoils and catamarans all day and they can get you there
in less than an hour.
Tip: You may wonder what is the last photo... it belongs to a bar! find
it...
