Skopelos Churches & Monasteries
Skopelos is full of churches & monasteries. Many of them are
located at Hora (Skopelos Town). So if you walk the small paved alleys
you may see them almost at every turn you take! Some of them are open
during the year, however many of them are not open - only their feast
day.
We will do our best to review all of them! In the meantime you may

Church of Panagia
or Panagitsa
The church of Panagia or Panagitsa is located in Skopelos Town and is
the most famous church of Skopelos.
It is a crossed type whitewashed
church with a grey stoned roof and a little white dome.
