From Athens: you have to get to Agios Konstantinos port 1.5 hours – 180 kilometers or Volos 3.5 hours – 360 kilometers or Kimi Evias 2.5 hours – 167 kilometers with destination to Skopelos port or Loutraki/Glossa port.
From Thessaloniki/North Greece: through Volos or Thessaloniki with destination to Skopelos port or Loutraki/Glossa port.

Shipping companies (ferry boats, flying dolphins, catamaran):
Hellenic Seaways: www.hellenicseaways.gr
NEL Lines: www.nel.gr
and from Kimi (Evoia island) with SKYROS SHIPPING COMPANY: www.sne.gr.

By Airplane

Alternatively, you may get to Skiathos island through airplane (check routes) and then with ship (see above) to Skopelos or Glossa/Loutraki.
